Mark Abell deals with franchising and the exploitation of intellectual property rights e.g. sponsorship, merchandising and technology transfer. He is also highly rated as a leader in his field by The Legal 500 legal directory and An International Who's Who of Franchise Lawyers (Law Business Research). He has been named "the Guru of franchising" in the Chambers legal directory and rated as the UK's number one franchising lawyer. Mark acts as an expert to the WIPO and WTO on franchising. Member of British Franchise Association's Legal Committee, International Franchise Association's CFS, IBA Franchise Committee, UIA Franchise Committee, LES and Member of the Editorial Board of Trademark World and Franchise Law and Business Alert. Lisa Sen is a Solicitor (Eng.& Wales) and an Indian Advocate who specialises in Franchising and is a consultant on Indian Law. She is the author of "Franchising in India" published by Eastern Law House in 1998. Ms Sen has been organising seminars on Franchising since 1996 and spoken at ones organised by the CII, FICCI and Franchising Association of India. She also contributes articles on the subject to Franchising World (india) and belongs to the Franchising Guild.
