It is located in North-East India, on the Myanmar boarder to its East, and the capital is Imphal. This is a restricted area for foreigners and one which has separatist movements and has a drug and HIV problem being part of the Golden Triangle. The people are Indo-mongoloids and speak Manipuri. They are mainly Hindus and Christians.
